CeAnEx’s Director recognised at the Outstanding Citizen Awards

CeAnEx Director Louise Brown was recognised at the Office of the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner’s Outstanding Citizen Awards. She was the proud runner-up in the hotly contested category of Outstanding Contribution to Supporting Victims of Crime.

Louise leads the CeAnEx team to identify victims of sexual exploitation/modern slavery that are not connected to any service or system. Louise’s skills in building intelligence and understanding patterns of exploitation has enabled her to reach some of the most difficult to engage women who have been completely isolated by their exploiter.

Her runner’s-up commendation was presented to her by West Midlands Victims’ Advocate, Natalie Queiroz MBE, who said “Louise goes to extraordinary lengths to reach the most isolated victims. “Her ability to build trust with women who have been silenced by fear is nothing short of life-changing. She embodies what it means to put victims first.”
